Hi I’m Veruschka,
Welcome to Aligned Soul Healing. I suffered a concussion a decade ago and was diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS). I was in severe pain with constant throbbing headaches, sensitivity to light/noise, vertigo, double vision, loss of peripheral vision and had trouble with memory/concentration.

After my concussion I was frustrated with myself and overwhelmed for what I was not able to do. Simple everyday tasks were a struggle and took so much of my energy which was limited.
Post-Concussion Syndrome is an invisible injury. On the outside I looked fine, on the inside I was emotionally and mentally drained. I felt broken and totally lost in who I was. I lost the person I once was and had to reacquaint myself with this “new” me.
I was playing tug-o-war in my own mind trying not to let the PCS become my new identity and take me over. I knew I couldn't start the healing process until I was honest with myself about how my concussion impacted my life. I knew it was something that did not define me. I believed in my heart I would heal from this even though no one could give me a timeline.
I chose to SURRENDER. I chose to SURRENDER to my healing journey.
I am now fully recovered from the multiple symptoms of my concussion and have regained my life. My healing journey has led me to energy healing. My mission is to help individuals with concussion who are struggling with the thought that, “no one understands what I'm going through” and the loss of who they once were. So, they can feel empowered in their concussion recovery, connect back to themselves and regain their lives.
